Challenge for Life - Cancer Care Walk

The Challenge for Life is a 20k Walk that takes participants through some of Winnipeg's most beautiful and historic neighborhoods on Saturday, June 11th 2011. The walk was created by the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation to help Manitobans reduce their risk of cancer and increase awareness for ALL cancers, while raising significant funds to support CancerCare Manitoba's work.

Each of our SOI walkers walk for a different reason, or a different friend/relative who has been affected by cancer.  The back of the team t-shirt said it all: "Together we walk, a 'Band of Brothers'.  We walk for those who cannot, we walk for those who we have lost, we walk for those who continue the fight."
