Membership Application

Membership is open to men over the age of 18 years old who are of Italian descent or who are married to a woman of Italian descent.  We hold monthly meetings from September to June for members and have separate monthly Executive meetings and various other committee meetings as well as social events and fundraisers.

Benefits of Membership

As a member of the Order of Sons of Italy, Garibaldi Lodge Incorporated, you will be a brother to a group of men who not only share the same culture, but share a passion for helping others, for building a better life for the Italian community in Winnipeg and also the general community of Winnipeg.  We work hard, get a lot done, and have fun doing it.

As a member, you will be expected to attend meetings regularly, get involved and contribute.  You will be able to vote at meetings and hold positions on the Executive and on committees.  You will also enjoy our social outings and be eligible for our member buy-one, get-one free Gala ticket offer (a saving of $200).

Dues

Membership dues are for the calendar year and are $75 for a regular member, $50 for a member who is in full time attendance at university or college, and $50 for senior members who are retired.  Dues paid during the year are prorated to the end of the year.  Please note that in order for a membership application to be considered, the dues must be paid.  Online payment by credit card is preferred, but prepayment by cheque is also acceptable.  An application without payment will not be considered complete.

New Member Application

Prospective members must by sponsored by a Sons of Italy member that can vouch for their character.

To become a member, you must fill out the application form below and pay the related fee.  We will consider your application at the next membership committee / Executive meeting and you will be advised by the Membership Chair of the result.
