Scott Oake very graciously thanked us again for the generosity we extended by having the Bruce Oake Memorial Fund as our 2019 Charity of Choice at our annual Gala. The fund raised $300,000 at our gala

On November 24, 2013 the Fogolar Association of Manitoba held a luncheon and unveiling of a new bookcase and 333 books donated to the Dante Alighieri. The books are a collection from the Fogolar camp at Anola and are all in the Furlan language.
Fred Giavedoni was president of the Fogolar Assn for 8 years. His sons, Cam Giavedoni (centre) and John Giavedoni (right) and Cam's son Travis Giavedoni were in attendance. All three are Sons of Italy members.
Three SOI members were spotted by the Free Press camera enjoying the Bannatyne Carnaval Street Festival.

SOI President Tat-Liang Fabio Cheam was the lucky winner of the Grand Prize raffle at the "UNVEILED: baring the artistic soul" fashion show. The event, supported by SOI, was a fundraiser for St. Boniface Hospital Heart Failure Clinic (April 4, 2013)
